Introduction
Department of Shalakyatantra is concerned with hygiene and treatment of disease related to eye, ear-nose-throat & oro -dental. Subject is nomenclated on the basis of instrument called Shalaka used in diagnosis as well as treatment.
Aim
- To prevent the society from the hazardous conditions like blindness, deafness, oral cavity cancers by identifying cause and treating the same.
Utility
- To impart clinical skill in the disciples in the field if ENT, Ophthalmology & Oro-Dentistry
Facilities
- Speciality OPD of Eye and ENT.
- Demonstration of various Diagnostic procedures like Refraction, Tonometry, Retinoscopy, Fundoscopy.
- Separate operation theatre for surgical procedure of Ophthalmology & ENT.
- Charts and models are available for practical demonstration.

- To pursue higher studies MD for research and academic purpose.
